The Motherhood Lens
The idea of “being a good mom” comes up daily in my sessions with clients.
Everyday moms I work with so badly want to get it right and yet feel like they are failing.
We have all created our own lens of motherhood. We have internalized an ideal or figure of who we think a good mom is, and we try too hard to become her.
The image we are chasing is a mirage in the desert that is unrealistic and unattainable.
It is so important for you to evaluate what being a good mom means to YOU, based on your values.
If you feel like you are trying to hit an invisible bullseye that you can seem to find or are not doing “good enough” in your motherhood role, click the shop link in my bio and check out my motherhood roadmap.
