Be Grateful For Vulnerability

Be Grateful For Vulnerability

Sometimes I’m feeling happy; sometimes I feel pain. Such is the dance of being here. ⠀

All of It is welcome. ⠀

All of it is loved. ⠀

This is something that I’m really beginning to feel. I too do this work that I coach others on because I value it so much in my own life. ⠀

I value my life; I value my happiness. ⠀
One thing that I’ve learnt is that we are all teachers and students to each other. ⠀
Isn’t that what love one another means? ⠀

For me it doesn’t mean... love someone else because you’ve got all your stuff together. ⠀

Nobody’s got their stuff together. Most people are wearing masks. ⠀

So I am learning to notice that we all do this dance with one another where we learn from each other and we can be a supporting hand for one another. ⠀

Everybody can learn something from somebody. ⠀

I surely am. ⠀

I’m learning that the more that I ask for what I need and be vulnerable; it creates a space for intimacy. For another human being to see me. ⠀
If you are a coach or therapist or mentor; the best thing that you can do is to remember that you’re human too. Don’t ever feel like you need to be perfect. Newsflash- we're not here to be perfect.⠀

The only reason that I can connect with my clients and coach them is because I’ve allowed myself to go to the depths of vulnerability and connection that I have. I’ve developed that empathy. And I continue to grow as a person which for me means to keep taking the barriers down of protection.⠀

Be grateful for vulnerability because it’s only when we are vulnerable that we can feel connection💜⠀

If you’re reading this. I see you. I’m not perfect. I’m not striving to be perfect.⠀

I see you. I understand you. 💜
