10 Top Tips for Managing Social Isolation at Home
It’s tough, although we’re all in our homes, we are all in this together. So I’ve put together top tips to managing at home with the children, especially if it’s not your norm!
1️⃣ Wake up and have intention for the day. Have a plan and know what you want it achieve.
2️⃣Wake up early! Don’t sleep all day.
3️⃣ Open your curtains, windows and make your bed as soon as you get up. Because, no matter what happens during the day, you’ll have a made bed to get into.
4️⃣ Have a big cup of water upon wake up. This immediately helps you wake up, hydration causes low energy.
5️⃣ Move your body!! There are so many apps that have free workouts right now! @chrishemsworth app is now FREE for 6 weeks! I’ll be getting this and doing his home workout.

There is always good old YouTube too if you need some motivation. It doesn’t have to be a hardcore workout either, just go yoga or stretching. It all helps. Release those endorphins and use your energy .
6️⃣ Get the kids to help you with chores and reward them with something.
7️⃣ Find activities that help keep them busy. Arts, crafts, colouring, drawing, building forts, chalk on concrete. If you’re in Australia check out @imaginatejustcreate they have children’s craft kits that can be delivered to your door! (Mine and my MILs Side hustle 😋)
8️⃣ Cook something, anything... kids love to help with cooking.
9️⃣ Take the opportunity to have a spring clean of food you don’t need, clothes you don’t wear and shoes that are old or too small.
🔟 Pick up the phone and call a friend! They’re at home too!

➡️ Don’t touch your face , wash your hands
